Mesilla Valley Transportation celebrates Driver Appreciation Day

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – Mesilla Valley Transportation (MTV) held its third-quarter Driver Appreciation Day on Thursday, Aug. 20, to recognize its drivers.
The event ran from 11:30 a.m. to 2 pm. at several terminals, including El Paso, Laredo, Hutchins, Tennessee and Ohio.
MTV holds the recognition event quarterly to honor drivers for their safety, performance and work.
As part of the event one driver was set to received a new car. The company said the car would go to the driver with the best mile-per-gallon average and a perfect Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) score for the quarter.
The event also included prizes, food and activities for the drivers and their families.
