Santa Maria Police recover firearm at traffic stop

SANTA MARIA, Calif. (KEYT) – The Santa Maria Police Gang Suppression Team recovered a firearm at a traffic stop just after 8:00 p.m. Saturday.
SMPD officers found the loaded gun from a driver at the Western Avenue and Rancho Verde intersection.
SMPD officers later arrested the driver for concealed firearm possession and booked them into the county jail.
