REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Redmond High School is getting a $5,000 boost, and could be in line for a much bigger prize.

The Panthers were randomly selected as a $5K Fridays winner through T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights competition, which celebrates small-town football and community pride.

The school is now also competing for a $1 million football field transformation.

School officials say they hope additional funding could help upgrade locker rooms, the weight room, and storage areas.

The grand prize winner set to be announced November 12th.
