Local nonprofit organization in Juárez expands funds to assist migrants on the border

CIUDAD JUÁREZ, Chihuahua (KVIA) — A non-profit organization in Ciudad Juárez—working alongside the Catholic Diocese of El Paso and the Hope Border Institute—has secured a grant to support migrants stranded in Juárez who find themselves needing to start a new life at the border.
‘Derechos Humanos Integrales en Acción’ (DHIA) assists asylum seekers at the border who have also suffered violence during their journey since leaving their home countries.
ABC-7 spoke with a DHIA legal representative to learn more about this grant and how the organization will continue providing services to those in need in Juárez.
