The August primary election is over. But did it go the way you thought it would?

Two big ballot issues drove heavy turnout in Mid-Missouri — Amendments 4 and 5. And in both cases, the issue went down in flames. That definitely wasn’t the outcome everyone was expecting.

Meanwhile, a public safety sales tax in Columbia barely squeaked by, and a capital improvement tax extension won easily in Jefferson City.
