A former Miller County deputy was sentenced to 20 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to first-degree child molestation on Friday.

Kyle Carroll was previously charged with five counts of first-degree child molestation.

Court documents in previous reporting say law enforcement officers were called to Carroll’s residence in September 2025 after he sexually assaulted a minor.

Law enforcement was allegedly told Carroll molested the victim in April or May of that year, court documents say.

Carroll allegedly admitted to having sexual encounters with the youth on several occasions, court documents in previous reporting say.
