Visit Yuma announces theme for the 24th Annual Dorothy Young Memorial Electric Light Parade
YUMA, Ariz. – (NBC, KYMA) – Visit Yuma announced the theme for this years annual Dorothy Young Memorial Electric Light Parade that will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2026, and this year’s patriotic theme, “America 250-250 Years of History.”
The theme celebrates 250 years of American Pride, inviting parade participants to showcase America’s history, heritage, innovation, and community spirit through dazzling illuminated floats, vehicles, walking groups, and performances.
Parade registration and sponsorship opportunities will officially open on September 1, 2026.
Businesses, organizations, schools, clubs, and community groups are encouraged to begin planning their illuminated entries now.
