Hundreds of Santa Barbara Students Experience Live Orchestra
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) – Hundreds of Santa Barbara students are getting a front-row introduction to live orchestral music at the Lobero Theatre.
The students will watch a live performance before exploring musical instruments up close through hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and encourage music education.
Educators say experiences like these can introduce children to instruments they may have never seen before while inspiring an interest in music at an early age.
The program gives students a chance to connect with professional musicians and discover the many instruments that make up an orchestra.
