Presented by Huntington National Bank and led by Houston First, the week is designed to make world-class entertainment more accessible while strengthening the theaters, artists and creative professionals who keep Houston’s cultural spotlight shining.
The official Houston Theater Week page confirms the 2026 dates and says participating performances and offer details will be announced as the promotion approaches. That means theater lovers should save the date now—and keep their ticket-buying fingers warmed up. Since its debut in 2022, Houston Theater Week has grown from an ambitious experiment into one of the city’s most successful arts-access traditions. The inaugural campaign united 20 organizations, offered 107 shows, sold 17,594 tickets and generated more than $572,000 in combined ticket revenue. One year later, the second annual promotion expanded to more than 200 performances and nearly 25,000 tickets sold.
