Nearly 1,300 without power in Cole County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Nearly 1,300 Ameren customers are without power in Cole County, according to the company’s outage map.
The outage map shows the outage began at 7:14 p.m., after a strong cell entered the area.
There were 1,264 customers without power at 7:54 p.m.
High winds were the cause of concern for Thursday, with the ABC 17 News Stormtrack Weather Team declaring Thursday a Weather Alert Day.
Ameren told ABC 17 News in an email that a crew is still assessing the cause.
