GoFundMes created to help two Yuma families after fire destroys their homes

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) – A couple of GoFundMes were created to help two Yuma families after a fire destroyed their homes.
According to Rural Metro’s Facebook post, the fire happened Tuesday in the area of Avenue C and S. El Prado Road at around 5 a.m.
The GoFundMe’s organizer says while everyone got out safely, all of their furniture, clothes, bedding and mattresses were “completely destroyed.”
The organizer says the GoFundMe was created as she, her husband, stepson and granddaughter, who is seven-years-old, are in need of clothes, food, household items, blankets, pillows, furniture and beds.
In addition, the GoFundMe has a goal of $2,200, with over $900 raised so far. If anyone would like to donate to the GoFundMe, click here.
