New fire in Fountain spurs immediate evacuation order

FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KRDO) – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has issued a mandatory evacuation for homes between both the North and South intersections of Jordan Road and Old Pueblo Road in Fountain.
Officials sent the evacuation notice over Peak Alerts. Information is very limited at this time.
