1 dead, multiple people injured in head-on Climax Springs crash

One person is dead and multiple people are injured after a head-on crash was reported in Camden County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
MSHP’s Troop F – which covers much of Mid-Missouri – wrote in a 3:43 p.m. social media post that one person was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Highway 7 and that multiple people were injured.

Troopers are investigating a two vehicle crash on MO 7, near Gypsum Drive, west of Lake of the Ozarks.
One person has been pronounced deceased at the scene and there are multiple people injured.

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office shared in a 3:32 p.m. social media post that the vehicles crash head-on on Highway 7 at Gypsum Drive in Climax Springs near the Dollar General.
“Be aware of emergency workers and be prepared for significant traffic delays. Both directions of traffic are currently shut down. If possible, choose an alternate route,” the sheriff’s office wrote.
