Buellton’s Successful Farmers Market Has A New Time Slot For Warm Seasons

BUELLTON, Calif. (KEYT) – The city of Buellton’s farmer’s market has gotten a very strong start over its first month.
And it’s just gotten a new schedule, right on time for the warmer seasons.
Still on Mondays on Avenue of the Flags, it’s now running from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., taking advantage of longer daylight hours for spring and summer.
It appears to be establishing itself strongly after only one month of weekly operations.
City leaders have hinted that if it continues with the success it’s had in the first few weeks, it will be sticking around.
Event organizers say one of their favorite things to see each week in addition to the fresh food and artisan vendors are the kids of the community populating the bounce houses.
With its popular and convenient location right off the 101 freeway exit, leaders say the event is putting Buellton on the map in whole new ways.
