BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — A 43-year-old man was arrested Saturday night after police say he broke into a business and smeared feces in two areas of the building.
Jajay Allen Findley was identified as the suspect and was taken into custody.
Officers responded to the location after a caller reported a naked man had forced his way into the building around 9:27 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Findley inside the building. Although the initial report described the suspect as naked, police noted that he was clothed when they took him into custody. Officers then cleared the facility to ensure no other individuals were present.
Findley was later transported to the Deschutes County Jail on several charges, including burglary and drug possession.
During a search of the property, police discovered feces smeared in two separate areas of the building. This discovery resulted in a charge of third-degree criminal mischief for the damage caused to the interior of the business.
Findley faces five separate charges. These include second-degree burglary, third-degree theft, third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree escape, and possession of a controlled substance. Police identified the controlled substance as meth.
