Mental Health Co-Response Unit presented at Yuma City Council work session

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – The Yuma County Fire Department and Police Department collaborated to present the Mental Health Co-Response Unit on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
The unit focuses on sending units to check up on people going through mental crises.
This was presented during the Yuma City Council work session, where multiple presentations were shown, such as the Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority.
