Woman Killed after farm tractor crash in Mecca

MECCA, Calif. (KESQ) — A woman was killed Monday following a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a farm tractor, according to The California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on 70th Avenue at Wheeler Street when a Ford Ranger traveling westbound on Wheeler Street collided with the rear of a farm tractor that was towing a trailer. CHP officials reported that the woman driving the Ford Ranger suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
The driver of the tractor did not report any injuries.
Officers are still working to determine what led to the collision, and the investigation remains ongoing.
