HARRAH, Oklahoma (KOCO) — A car crashed into a coffee shop in Harrah after the driver reportedly told police that her foot was stuck on the gas pedal.
The crash happened at The Simple Brew. The accident caused the vehicle to go through two sets of walls before being stopped by a bar counter.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The owners of the coffee shop said that, fortunately, patrons who are usually present at that time were not there at the time of the crash.
The coffee shop will be closed Wednesday.
“We are planning to open our actual drive-thru on Thursday normal hours. We will put a sign on the boarded windows and an arrow to point you in the right direction for the time being. Please be patient with us and any support you can offer, we are so appreciative of,” the shop said on social media. “Our coffee roaster was not hit, so if you need to stock your pantry with coffee beans for the weekend and Thanksgiving, you can still order online on our website.”
The restaurant said Sunday Soup Kitchens will be paused indefinitely.
