BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — As the holiday season approaches, many Central Oregon families are already bracing for one of the biggest challenges facing their festive celebrations — rising meat prices and shortages.
From Thanksgiving turkeys to Christmas roasts, the cost and availability of meat are on many shoppers’ minds this year.
To understand what’s behind these changes and how they might affect your holiday tables, Claire Elmer is speaking Thursday with a local meat company that got in touch with KTVZ News about rising meat prices and shortages and how it may affect the holidays.
