BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — The countdown is on for the BendFilm Festival, which kicks off later this week with a packed schedule of screenings, panels, and community events throughout downtown Bend. This year’s lineup features an expanded selection of independent films from around the world, as well as homegrown projects produced right here in Central Oregon.
The multi-day festival, now in its 22nd year, is known for spotlighting new voices in filmmaking while drawing national attention to Bend’s creative scene. Dozens of filmmakers, producers, and actors will attend to discuss their work and connect with audiences in an intimate setting uncommon at larger festivals.
In addition to screenings, attendees can expect filmmaker Q&A sessions, live discussions on the state of independent cinema, and special events highlighting Bend’s local arts community. The goal remains the same: to celebrate storytelling and bring people together through film.
