More than 10,000 customers without power in Indian Wells area

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. (KESQ) – An outage has left more than 10,000 customers without power amid triple-digit heat in the Indian Wells area.

According to Southern California Edison, the outage was first reported just before 9 a.m. There is no word on the cause.

SCE estimates power will be restored to most customers by 3 p.m.
